A classic crane scale for broad-capacity crane scale applications, known for its strict compliance with safety standards.
MSI-3460's latest instrumentation technology, the ScaleCore™ measurement module, is the central enhancement of the Challenger 3, bringing industry-leading weighing features of previous Challenger designs to a whole new level. Long-range viewing is enhanced with a larger 1.5 inch (38 mm) ultra-bright LED digital display. Resolution settings of up to 10,000 divisions dial in precise 0.1% loading accuracy over a broad capacity range from 250 to 15,000 lb. Over 80 hours of product operating time is reached with a single 6-volt rechargeable battery. The original signature Challenger packaging has been upgraded to NEMA 4, IP65 levels. Manufactured in the USA in strict compliance with the highest safety standards, MSI's Challenger continues to sustain minimum 200% safe and 500% ultimate load ratings.

The MSI-9300HT offers a unique and robust "high torque" load train with a fixed hook for applications involving Powered Rotating Load Block or attachment. Uses MSI's advanced CellScale technology and is compatable with both the MSI-9850 and MSI-9750A RF Indicators.
The MSI-9300HT (High Torque) is a unique crane scale configuration specially designed for heavy capacity coil handling applications, up to 35 tons. A fixed hook is featured for interface compatibility with crane hooks equipped with powered rotation and where high torque conditions exist between the crane hook and load.

A key component for MSI's integrated overhead weighing solutions is the Clevis Load Pin Sensor. Typically designed and manufactured specifically to each integrated solution, the MSI load pin is strictly industrial grade. Each load pin design is precision machined from 17-4 stainless steel for safety, strength and corrosion resistance.
Each strain gauge location is precisely calculated and correctly placed in the optimum concentrated stress area of each installation. This MSI applied engineering process ensures the most efficient and accurate performance for each specific installation.
MSI load pin designs apply only internally mounted strain gauges for complete protection from the outside environment. To ensure the highest level of accuracy, performance and quality, each load pin is internally balanced and temperature compensated.
